Canon har nok merket konkurransen fra speilløse systemkameraer og modeller som Fujifilm X10 på det siste året.  De minste modellene fra Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic og Samsung er ikke større enn en G12 - riktignok uten objektiv - samtidig som de leverer de bildekvalitet i speilrefleksklasse. Canon mangler foreløpig et systemkamera uten speil, men G1 X er kraftig oppgradert med en bildebrikkene som er omtrent seks ganger så stor som i G12 uten at kameraet har blitt voldsomt mye større.

I want a good SLR like digital camera that has underwater housing?

The Olympus SP 550 UZ is 545 GBP (both camera and housing) but gets mixed reviews. !!!

I used to use a housing with my 35mm on photo dives. Most housings are pricy. Additionally most of your better pictures are obtained from shallower depths. I.E. lighting and color is not degraded.

Konica Minolta do a good range of digital cameras (especially the Dimage range) and underwater housing is easily available for most models. I have a Dimage myself and although it is not strictly a SLR it is almost as good and it takes a fine picture.

How do I fix a Zoom Error on a Fuji J38 Camera?

I have had a Fujifilm camera for 2 months and it worked perfectly. I brought it to a dance and kept it in my pocket. It must have bounced around too much because now when I turn it on, the shutter opens up and then immediately retracts.
