Samsung Galaxy Pocket

Talk about giving shape to the consumers needs; Samsung seems to have mastered the art. Be it Galaxy S, Nexus or the pretty low-end mini 2, the Korean giant and the world-wide sweetheart did pick some nice gestures along the way to woo its devoted clientele. The latest and definitely the hottest is the tiny android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone – the Samsung Galaxy Pocket.

Stripped down to the bare essentials, the Pocket sports a TFT multi touch 2.8” wide, 240x320 pixels QVGA display touchscreen, an 832 MHz processor, internal 3GB storage (expandable up to 32GB with a SD memory card), and a primary fixed focus 2MP, 1600x1200 pixels camera with geo-tagging on its back. GPS with A-GPS support, in built FM radio, HSPA and Wi-Fi are also on-board. On the software side are the enhanced goodies like the usual set of Google applications, Samsung’s ChatON service and the TouchWiz user interface.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 comes to the US

Samsung is known for its range of devices, varying in size, specs and budget. The result is a steady stream of releases that have saturated the Android market, and this week’s no exception. Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 7.7 has shown its face in the U.S., while the Galaxy Pocket makes its way to the UK. LG is staying in the game with the Lucid, an LTE smartphone, while Archos goes niche with a tablet made for kids.

With an LTE edition made specifically for Verizon, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has finally made its way to the States. It’s another odd-sized tablet, fitting somewhere between a smartphone and the typical 10-inch tablet, making its appeal to consumers with a Goldilocks complex. Nevertheless, the Tab 7.7 has some impressive features, starting with the first ever Super AMOLED Plus display for a 7.7-inch screen. It brings you higher resolution than its larger sibling at 1280x752, with the same thinness of its other Tab cousins (it’s just 7.89mm at its thickest point).

Samsung Galaxy Pocket announced

Samsung has unveiled the Android 2.3-toting Samsung Galaxy Pocket, with the new phone targeting the budget end of the market.

In something of a surprising move, Samsung waited until after MWC 2012 to announce the Galaxy Pocket.

The phone has a 2.8-inch touchscreen, the upgraded TouchWiz interface from Samsung and an SD card slot to boost its 3GB of internal memory. The camera is a disappointing 2MP affair.

Why does my 8GB memory card status say almost full when it says Ive used only 2.2GB?

& it says I have about 5GB left or so..
I have a Samsung Admire, with 8GB Sd memory card.
all I have are pictures, few video clips, & apps.
